Benefactor Alt Mass Damper Skip (Any%/NG+)
19In Mirror's Edge Catalyst, skipping the second half of the level (aka the Tuned Mass Damper section) typically requires wall climbing a plank with interesting properties. However, how this plank behaves differs from setup to setup, meaning some people aren't able to use the traditional skip at all. This alternative is possible to do on both console and PC, and in any category.
NOTES: When hitting Q and then pulling up the map immediately after (aka. Q-TAB), aim the top left corner of the Anansi building between the tiny gap in Regatta Bay buildings, and the next building over.
IF IT FAILS: If you bonk your head on the pipe, you're either too far left, or you hit jump too late when exiting out of the map. You can actually mash jump before you exit the map, since it doesn't do anything unless you highlight something.
