6Betrayal at Krondor is an RPG adventure from Dynamix (sub-company of Sierra On-Line) set in the world of Midkemia of author Raymond E. Feist. This is one of my favorite games of all time. I have owned two different copies of the game, the original on disk and this CD-Rom version featuring high-quality Red Book CD audio of the games music tracks. When you use the CD version you lose some of the sound effects and classic one-liner intros of characters as the audio information is passed over to the midi driver. Thanks to a hacked version of the sound drivers for the game you can now run midi audio with full digital sound effects (or in this case CD audio with digifx), information below.

Ten years after A Darkness at Sethanon, Seigneur Locklear is serving at a northern Kingdom garrison when he saves Gorath of the Ardanien from an assassin. Gorath has brought a warning of an invasion planned by Delekhan, leader of the moredhel, so Locklear agrees to take him to see Prince Arutha in Krondor. Injured from numerous attacks, they ask for help from Owyn Beleforte, a young magician from Tiburn. The game begins in their camp north of LaMut.
