Beyerdynamic MMX 100 headset Review and mic test - great sounding mic and more
169This is a review of the superb Beyerdynamic MMX100, an affordable 3.5mm headset from Beyerdynamic with some really nice style, great sound and a fantastic mic. This is an alternative to the Beyerdynamic MMX150 that I reviewed previously (see https://youtu.be/y9Xk7iPU6nc) and that was a great headset, but this one is designed to be multi-purpose with 3.5mm connections for PC, console and more.

Clear and precise sound on studio level
Natural vocal transmission with low ambient noise thanks to detachable META VOICE microphone
Best compatibility with PC, XBOX, Playstation and Nintendo Switch with volume control wheel and separate mute switch for intuitive operation
Excellent wearing comfort throughout many many hours of gaming
Detachable microphone, cable and replaceable spare parts for durability
Highlights of this headset:
Superb passive noise cancellation (blocks out my wife)
Great sounding microphone
Comfortable padding
Loud drivers
Nice rich sound with a warm and powerful bass
Lowlights:
Round earcups are uncomfortable for me.
