Beyond Shadowgate (part 7)
1I got really stuck at the start of this part, it was another one of those moments to kick oneself... I had done everything needed initially but I never thought of speaking to the zombie, its just one of those things I did not consider and the text was full of hints, I proceeded to try and summon the beast that scared him along with everything else I could think of but to no avail...I had to actually look that speak to the zombie bit up, hence the hard cut about 35 mins into the video....I really could have been there for ages because I don't think it would have crossed my mind.
I do like the game because there are a few throwbacks to De ja vu and the Uninvited, two games that I have played through years ago but I feel the game is a little inconsistent regarding the difficulty but it probably does reflect the fact that De Ja vu and The uninvited were fairly straightforward compared to the Original Shadowgate for instance.
The references to the other games are good because the game did seem like a bit of a fetch quest before I stumbled across the Uninvited bit, it changed the game from being a bit monotonous to being something of a quest through time that actually related to my past playthroughs.
