Well, I ended up retrying the game around 10 minutes later. Fine ending, I guess. I assume other choices would have led to a different ending. I'm mildly surprised it didn't ding me for killing that one guy, although I think that was morally pretty neutral. Guy was obviously willing to kill massive amounts of people for his own sake.

Anyway, fine game. Not great, but fine.

I can understand killing Stanley being morally opaque, but apparently killing Gil is considered a "bad" choice. What utter trash. Reinforces my opinion that Bioshock games are garbage when it comes to moral choice. They never have any hard questions.

Anyway, people say that this game has "transparent" choices that merge to form the ending. No, in that regard it's little different from the original game. It's clearly laid out where the moral choices are, and, as I see it, each decision has a clear moral decision.
