Bioshock - Welcome To Fort Frolic! - part 20 - Bioshock Gameplay/Let's Play
This is part 20 of my Bioshock Let's Play. In this part of Bioshock, it's revenge time. We're getting revenge on Andrew Ryan for Atlas. Only a short hop on a bathysphere by way of Fort Frolic, with absolutely nothing to stop us in between. Absolutely. Nothing.
This is a Bioshock let's play. Bioshock is a game by 2K games. Bioshock was first released in 2007. The Bioshock gameplay is first person shooter, with a range of different guns and abilities used to take down enemies. Bioshock has also recently been remastered. Bioshock is rated 9/10 on Steam, so is very well regarded. It also has very positive reviews from critics. I'm playing Bioshock from Steam.
Bioshock tells the story of a plane crash survivor, who finds the entrance to an underwater city: Rapture. Devised and built by Andrew Ryan, it was meant to be a Utopia, away from the laws, morals and judgement of the rest of the world. The motto "No Gods or Kings, just Man" symbolises this. This vision has been tainted by the invention of Plasmids - injectable substances that give a person superhuman abilities. These plasmids led to the rise of splicing genes, and the breakdown of society in search for the currencies that power them - Adam and Eve. A whole world of Splicers, Big Daddies, Little Sisters, and a host of other creatures has developed, and all are trying to kill you. Only Atlas, a man speaking to you over the radio, has any interest in helping.
In this episode of Bioshock, the gameplay moves from Arcadia to Fort Frolic, an entertainment area run by Sander Cohen, who considers himself an artist. He sinks the bathysphere and cuts your communications to Atlas and Ryan, sending you on a hunt to regain control.
This is part of a Bioshock playthrough, and features Bioshock gameplay and audio. It also has commentary by me, SecondEraOfMoles.
