9Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG developed and published by Game Science. It was first announced back in February 2020, and it is set to release on August 20, 2024, for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It was originally developed using Unreal Engine 4, but eventually swapped to the Unreal Engine 5. This game draws inspiration from the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West", one of the Four Great Classical Novels of Chinese literature. It tells the story of Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King. It will be set in an immersive world inspired by Chinese mythology and fantasy, where players take control of Sun Wukong, harness his magical abilities to transform into different forms, and engage in intense battles against various mythical creatures and monsters, all while exploring and uncovering different stories from various characters
