This is an unofficial and independently produced fan-made short film based on characters and locations from the works of Games Workshop Limited. The design of the Dreadnought in the short film is based on the official design found here (https://www.games-workshop.com/de-DE/Cybot-der-Space-Marines), for which Games Workshop Limited holds the rights. All 3D modelling/texturing/baking/rigging etc. was done by me.
Games Workshop Limited is the sole owner of the design of the Dreadnought and the brand Warhammer 40,000. On top of that all associated logos, illustrations, images, names, creatures, races, vehicles, locations, weapons, characters, and their distinctive likenesses are either ยฎ, trademarks (TM), and/or ยฉ Games Workshop Limited and, where applicable, registered worldwide.
I wanted to challenge my hard surface modeling skills and decided to model a Dreadnought from Warhammer 40,000. I loved how simple its basic shapes were, and once finished, I created a short film with it. The Dreadnought looks great๐ However, I have to say that the walk cycle or in general, the ability for the Dreadnought to move is inaccurate. I am not sure if the Dreadnought as I have modeled it can walk as you can see in the short film. It looks weird and wrong ๐
Nonetheless, I learned a ton throughout creating the model! ๐ช
