This is the compilation of every unit's voice lines for the British faction in Blitzkrieg 2. The British roster is pretty decent fairly decent, but underutilized. Since Britain doesn't get a campaign in the base game, you will never really get to control any of these units outside of very rare circumstances. Although, in the Liberation expansion you do get to play plenty of missions where you use a combination of US and British units or all British units. Britain's light tanks are fairly underwhelming, though there isn't very many repeats of tanks just being upgraded with slightly different stats and models. Their medium tanks are alright, although the firefly is a standout and is capable of destroying heavy tanks, although can't handle being shot at very well. Their heavy tanks are very good. The Churchill and Centurion are very reliable, the Churchill's only failing is not being able to deal with the heavy tanks of Germany. The Centurion is outright better than the Churchill in every way except that it only has one machinegun, meaning that huge swarms of infantry can easily overwhelm it if it is stationary or stuck. The British also get the only heavy flame tank in the game, the Churchill Crocodile. It has the armor of the Churchill and demolishes cover. However there is a big issue with the Churchill and the way flamethrower damage works in the game. Flamethrower arcs do a huge chunk of damage in a line from the flamethrower to the target. The Churchill's hull is so big that it gets caught in it's own flamethrower arc and takes damage from it's own attacks. It's an issue that is still in the game and limits the Crocodile's life expectancy as it will probably kill itself from using it's flamethrower. Everything else is pretty generic. Their SPGs are pretty cool, although two out of three of them are just M7 Priest variations. None are very well armored and only one has a machinegun. Artillery wise, they get some very quick firing AT guns, the 2 pounder is legit lethal to early panzers, and will make short work of any lightly armored target they engage. The 17 and 25 Pounder howitzers are absolute beasts of artillery. Most British artillery pieces actually have way more freedom to rotate their guns in any direction freely. British bombers are a mixed bag. They get probably one of the worst bombers, the Fairey Battle. God awful bomber, never use it. Britain gets two actual real strategic bombers, the Lancaster and Wellington. Both are alright, if you are going to compare stats, go for the larger bomb load. Britain doesn't have its own campaign, which is very sad. It would have been really cool to have a campaign in North Africa alongside the German North African one. Fighting German 88 positions would've been pretty fun actually. But since that never happened you get the invasion of Italy and France in the Liberation Expansion. You end up fighting some of the hardest missions on the Allied side.
