I love fnaf. I'm very passionate about it. Security Breach had so much potential and I tried to give ruin a chance but I still came out upset. sorry :(

I really disliked that the entire game was just following a trail and holding E. I was sick of it since the first 15 minutes of the game but Ruin really wanted that to be its main mechanic along with the same other puzzles over and over again,

The gameplay isn't fun, the story feels extremely barebones and unthought out, and I became very upset that it feels like the series I loved is being treated as a cash grab. I feel like Steel Wool is treating fnaf like a hello neighbor tie-in rather than a true game with something to say. I hate how they try to advertise this game as a family-friendly horror game. It's without risk and without any soul. It feels like they made fnaf a corporate, safe, schoolastic tale.

Fnaf shouldn't have been a franchise or brand in the first place. It was a story and it had an ending. Scott wanting to continue the story because there was always something he wanted to touch up on, a detail that needed closure, something that didn't feel right. Security Breach exists because they want profit. I don't feel any love when I'm playing this game. The lore never goes beyond a sentence. There's no heart, reason, or anything that really matters in the heart of this game. I want to love security breach but I can't when it's clear the writers don't.

Where was Scott Cawthon when this game was being made? Did he care? Did he play it? Was he fine with it? Did he give the series to steel wool and moved on? If that's true, then I simply wish it was in the hands of someone else. With all due respect, the concept and execution of Security Breach is just beyond what the indie studio can do. Of course, it would be a bad business choice to give up making fnaf games for the studio, it's their main source of income. So FNAF is now just a piggy-bank for a studio that can't give it the respect it deserves.

If for any reason you like this game, you're allowed to, and I'm sorry if my negativity upsets you.

Security Breach just hurts me on a personal level so bad. I hate how it has very positive reviews on steam. It feels like everyone is just encouraging and embracing this poor quality product, this hollow shell of a series, something that's rotting from the inside out. I worry that the series I care about is more than dying, it's rotting, and everyone is cheering.

Security Breach is something that hurts my soul to such a high degree that seeing people cheer on a piece of media that offends my heart so much disgusts me. Again, you're allowed to have your opinion, I'm just venting in a youtube description.

Vanny had so much potential but they did nothing with her. She's just not in the video game. The canon ending is where she has a redemption arc but she never showed up to begin with. She spawns once in the beginning of the game and that's it. They gave character development to a character that simply never showed up and I just have to accept that. She has more screen time in texts in a mobile game. How is that even possible? It's a spit on the face for everything we're waiting for.

I wish I could even process what's happening in Ruin. Vanessa and Gregory are working together to keep the mimic in the basement or something?? Why in the world is Vanessa, a grown adult, letting Gregory get involved in this? How did they make a ghost AI security system that only shows up if you wear a mask you shouldn't have? Why is there weird mask jammers everywhere?? Why would anyone other than Vanessa have it in the first place? What are the weird security nodes attached to random objects? How does anything in the vanny mask world exist in the first place? How does it work on certain objects but not others? Why is Glitchtrap/Mimic so pathetic it keeps getting defeated by 8 year olds who do nothing but walk forward and maybe press a button? What even was that scooper ending?? Steel Wool just makes things up and never elaborates on it because there's no rhyme or reason to anything. It's against everything the original fnaf stood for.

So the Burntrap ending isn't canon? Does the Mimic never get the Burntrap outfit in the canon ending? How does that work? Did vanny go outside, fuse the mimic to a corpse within an hour at 6AM, and put it in the charging station all within an hour before gregory went to the basement??

What even is that secret costume?? It just feels like it's trying to be artificially mysterious by making things up. Sure, that's how certain writers do things, expand on it later, but Steel Wool has shown they don't like expanding on anything at all.

Is this the product everyone wants? Am I in the minority for thinking this game is bad? If everyone is happy but me, maybe I should just keep the heartache to myself and let everyone else enjoy what I've come to see as a corpse of what once was.

You're allowed to like what you like, I'm simply heartbroken.
