In order to access these levels, you'd normally need a Joycard 64 controller. This was basically a special controller released by Hudson for the N64 which allowed you to turbo speed the Start button. However if you're fast enough, or can just mash the button at the right speed, it will unlock these levels regardless. A strange way to hide these levels but eh.

You must do this as soon as you start the game and if done correctly, the word 'Bonus' will appear at the bottom of the main menu. These do not stay unlocked and the process must be repeated when powering the game off.
