BotW: Setup for Bullet-time Bounce to Hyrule Castle from Temple of Time
5,168(Edit) People over-estimate how much this trick saves. It's only 1-2 mins. ToT to castle was only 3 mins before this trick.
I spent like 20 hours and finally made a decent setup. I tested 20 times and got forward angle 16 times. Not perfect yet but the best setup ever at least.
1. Whistle to prevent the bokoblin from walking around randomly.
2. Run up the window to get the angle.
3. Sidehop slash 3 times. This prevents walking before sidehops since you can only jump while slashing.
4. Shoot an arrow to the spot. Where you shoot doesn't matter much. You have to aim down after using a bow.
5. Mash Y to slash when the bokoblin reacts, backflip slash when the slash ends, mash Y to slash, hold A + ZL + up then press X when the slash ends for instant shield surf. These slashes are for waiting for the bokoblin turning left. It should work as long as you hit to his arm so shouldn't be precise. (Motion control looks bad here but Link doesn't move after shooting actually so it's fine.
6. Use a bow right before hitting and press Y after hitting or spam D-right and unequip your bow. Bow timing doesn't matter much but better to do as late as possible to save stamina.
How this glitch works: Bullet-time is 20 times slower than usual but shield bounce on enemies works same even in bullet-time so you get 20x speed bounce.
