Braincraft HAT tester
41Before we can start fabrication of a new design we need to design a tester - that way we can verify all the components and firmware are working they way they ought to. In this case, the Braincraft HAT https://www.adafruit.com/product/4374 has a TFT display, two microphones and two speaker outputs. We can use the speakers to test the mic's and vice versa by playing a sine wave through each speaker and then checking the sound level on the matching mic. We should see a big difference! the TFT is tested by having the text show up on it, and next up I'll add headphone jack and joystick tests. A quick but effective full-coverage test is essential to getting our high quality electronics out there.
