Brazilian Jiujitsu Rolls After Class (New Camera)
3Hey There! I just got a GoPro Hero 8 Black and I wanted to start recording my sparring sessions to review and to share my experiences and training journey. I am a fairly new Blue Belt in Brazilian Jiujitsu (~about a year) and a Yellow belt in Judo.
1st Roll:
------------
I am working with my wife who is relatively new to Brazilian Jiujitsu (been training here and there for the past year or longer). She is using BJJ as a mode for stress relief, socialization, exercise, personal growth, and a method for working through her anxiety and depression. We are sparring to encourage movement, practice moving through the various positions, and to help her work through the common feelings of claustrophobia that most new practitioners go through.
2nd Roll:
--------------
This white belt is newer to the gym but seems to have a bit more familiarity with grappling and is more aggressive than my wife. I am working on more of my game with him as I try to work from the bottom to sweep and take the top. I much prefer chokes to joint locks so that's what I go for most of the time.
3rd Roll:

This is my friend Pete. He is much lighter than me but he is a Judo black belt and been a BJJ Blue belt since I met him. This is a more technical roll and I'm a lot more defensive because he has caught me in so many triangles in the past. I like to mess with him by threatening wristlocks but this was a fun roll.
