Today http://www.youtube.com/themightythor1212 decided it would be awesome if we showed you guys how to build a sweet DSLR dolly or slide or what ever you want to call it! this is a cheap alternative to a full sized rolling dolly you would find on a movie set, but you can really get some good shots on the cheap with a few roller skate wheels and a little bit of ingenuity and time! a lot of people call these budget sliders or cheap dslr sliders, i like to call them DSLR sliders. This dolly slider uses glide tracks not roller bearings so it can be taken apart and set on any flat surface to give the illusion of having a full sized camera dolly on location. it is fully portable and can be broken down into pieces that fit inside a compact car! I also went out and bought a new camera because i broke my last one! the camera that i ended up getting was a Canon ELPH 300 HS Power shot! it is amazing! it shoots in a full 1080p and has a nice 24mm lens!
