I wanted to chronicle building my first mechanical keyboard, so I made this video.

I used the Keebio Iris v 8 PCB, which already had pre-soldered hot swap connectors, so that all I had to do was to plug in the MX-compatible switch of my choice. I went with Gaterons Brown, which are linear tactile and require a bit of force to press relative to other options. For keycaps, I went with the XVX low-profile shine-through PBT keycaps, I bought one set in white and another in black to have some contrast on the keys I chose. Very happy with these parts out of the gate.

Apologies for the wobbly camera and max 720p res, I am not really well set up for videos. And I hope you get a little joy out of it. This was a fun experience and I highly recommend you to give it a try!
