Busted by focus miss! Pokemon Showdown #8a ANNOUNCERS 5th gen OU Singles Wifi Battle | Ash vs Misty
**Click "SHOW MORE" to expand the description
My team initially wasn't supposed to be a sun team. I use weather to counter other weather teams. I try my best to make my favorite gen 1-5 pokemon team anti-meta viable. They do well :)
I insert anime scenes because it is my favorite part of the Pokemon franchise.
3:49 I need more money to produce my version of a monster battle simulator. The more sales I receive from this fighting game, the easier it will be for me to start working on a monster battle strategy game. I plan to hire an announcer as well.
It's unlikely that the game will be 3D early on.
Online pvp and balancing will be my highest priority.

People are always telling me I shouldn't compare the games to the cartoon. But why not? Pokemon is Pokemon, and I feel the animated adaptation is superior to the game universe.
Don't you dare bring up "thunder armor" swellow. That was horrendous writing. One bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch. And Pikachu lost to Snivy because Zekrom weakened it.
Just imagine Ash vs Norman, Grovyle vs Slaking in the Advanced series. In that episode of the show, Grovyle used its speed and agility to match Slaking's power. And because of this, it was an intense battle. Compare it to the games. Slaking has 100 base speed. Grovyle has 95. In the main series games, Slaking will use return, Slash, Headbutt, Body Slam, etc. All of them are 100% accurate. It will attack first, and Grovyle will ALWAYS lose. No competition, no entertainment. The combat in the games is unrealistic and uninteresting. The recent Pokemon games are even more boring because the pokemon barely show personality anymore.
I don't care if the games are the source material. The anime version is what you'd expect Pokemon to be like if it was real life. They will not stand there and get hit by flamethrower 100% guaranteed. That's IDIOTIC!
There's Pokken, there's Smash Brothers, there's Poke Park Wii 2 Wonders Beyond. Whether they are good/balanced games or not is irrelevant. The point is, we can freely move and use our individual strengths and strategies to our advantage. In the core Pokemon games, the characters are merely chess pieces. There are no comeback or wow factors. No matter what you do, that 100% accurate hidden power ice from Zapdos will destroy your Torterra, and the same with thunderbolt against everything else with mediocre special defense. You actually damaged Zapdos? Nice! Guess what... Roost and Toxic stall! This strat isn't in S&S, but other cheap things are, like Dracovish's Fishious Rend with choice scarf. 100% accurate.
All pokemon battles should be forfeited when you're aware of being put in checkmate, even if you still have 3 pokemon left.
Now about stat boosting moves. In the games, Scyther will destroy you after swords dance. But in the anime, Cyndaquil was able to overcome the overwhelming odds with smart thinking.
There's probably much more to say, but I've said enough. I wish the games took inspiration from how battles work in the cartoon. Snorlax has the same 10% chance to dodge Giga Impact as Pikachu. *Logic*
My monster battle video game won't have broken Skill Link Cloyster that can 6-0 sweep an opponent nor any other unfair nonsense.
Honestly, I just wish Creatures Inc, Nintendo, or whoever would let me have the rights to use their property in my game. I don't want to make up original characters :(

Stadium Series:
Even with editing, the new Pokemon games never look this exciting.
Best graphics in a Pokemon game, and this was 2006. Shameful.
After Battle Revolution on Wii, the 3D model animations became bland.
Why make the pokemon stand still when they miss their attack. That's so BORING!
Stadium will forever be the best Pokemon game series. The anime is more realistic than the games.
Weezing has white lips in S&S for some reason. Dumb game.
Nintendo Switch Pokemon Games Glitch: Look under dugtrio when you use earthquake on it. There's WHITE GUNK in the cracks of the earthquake when used on pokemon who's character model clips through the floor (such as mega gengar). Gamefreak either doesn't know about it or they are LAZY!
Kinda fixed in BDSP I guess (still looks weird).
