Another day another winetricks exclusive... This is the latest GOG version and it needs a few things to run. First rename the Movies folder to avoid the intro. Second download the dotnetfx.exe from filehippo and install it. Third use a cache that winetricks work like fix34 and install d3dx9_29 and then copy it and transfer it in to this cache, meaning MultiWine 6 allmod. Fourth run the game.
Rome wasn't built in a day... at least not without winetricks...
