Call of Chernobyl ( 1.4.22 ) Monolith Player Wins Everything & Lives
TLDV ( Too Long Don't View ) Monolith Player wins everything & Lives to walk away with it.
How to go to the Wish Granter and make the wish "I desire all the riches of the Zone" which normally overloads the Player with too much weight and the Player dies unable to escape the intense radiation next to the Wish Granter. This happens when every armor, every weapon, every artifact and every other game item ends up in your inventory. If you are carrying extra knapsacks, they disappear. The one game item knapsack you are given is disabled from being used. You simply cannot escape before you die unless you follow the procedure shown in the video.
First, place a couple of knapsacks on the ground where you know you can still reach them when you are overloaded. Go to the Wish Granter menu and choose "I desire all the riches of the Zone" which dumps everything on you. Start removing items as fast as you can from your inventory into the knapsacks. You must do this quickly before your health reaches critical levels.
Once you step away and use health artifacts to restore your health, you can go back and start taking specific items you desire for trips back the way you came. It may take 6 to 9 trips to take it all depending on what you had on you to begin with. The video ends after only my second trip back with a load as it wasn't necessary to show the entire ordeal.
Is this cheating? Not really but more of an exploit. I've been told this might have been disabled in the 1.5 version. The upside is if you are a Monolith Player, you can get that special armor you desire ( the Monolith Trader sells most every weapon or you can get what he doesn't in travel ) or those special artifacts you haven't found yet. I had no trouble getting all 3 toolkits in the north despite the lack of activated stashes but maybe you're impatient. I have not found a Svarog, Pellicle or Mica yet so those were the most desirable non-armor items to me personally.
The downside is you cannot remove the altered wheel and the altered insulator once they are placed in your inventory. This is a dead giveaway to others that you have used this exploit if you share screenshots or videos. The PKM on a mounted tripod also vanished when I attempted to "use" it by clicking on it's menu option. Additionally while my Companions did wait for me one time where I left them, repeated trips made some of them go rogue. You don't want to take them inside with you the first time as they may shoot at the psi mutant projections but after the initial wish is done, you could take them inside since the hallucinations cease.
In the end I decided not to enjoy this exploit in my current game. It took all the fun out of it to be given everything despite me really needing a Svarog or wanting to try out armors I've never seen before. It's up to you if this is a viable option. Just have plenty of radiation protection and I can't imagine anyone but the Monolith Faction could survive this scenario and walk away with all the loot.
