The piping hot Call of Duty WW2 multiplayer gameplay footage in the video above begins with Team Deathmatch in and around French farmhouses on a map named Pointe du Hoc, then rolls right into Domination Mode on a map set in the Ardennes Forest, then onto new mode War.

Call of Duty WW2's War mode is a "narrative" asymmetric multiplayer mode that involves completing a sequence of objectives, with each side taking a turn on attack and defence.

In the gameplay above we are on map Operation Breakout, in which the attacking team must seize a house and build a bridge before proceeding to destroy an anti-aircraft battery near an old church. The defending team, meanwhile, must stop them with nothing but lots of guns, poison gas, fantastic sight lines and the defensive advantage.
