Stam Fine Reviews uncovers a pair of 1979 made-for-tv movies ahead of a potential weekly Captain America series. Reb Brown stars as Steve Rogers, a dude travelling the country in his sweet-ass van that also has a sweet-ass motorbike, but also with a piss-weak plastic shield. He's also Captain America, technically Captain America, Jr since his dad was Captain America Sr. But not Captain America II, since the second film is called Captain America II: Death Too Soon. Marvel's late 70's push to turn more of its superheroes into TV series ended up with only one hit and more than a few misses, with this being one of them.
