Captain Commando: ¡la lucha contra el crimen de Capcom CPS1!
Captain Commando is a side-scrolling beat 'em up arcade game developed and published by Capcom for the CPS-1 arcade hardware in 1991. The game was later ported to various home consoles and computer platforms.
The game takes place in a futuristic world where crime has taken over the city. Players control one of four heroes, Captain Commando, Mack the Knife, Ginzu the Ninja, and Baby Head, as they battle their way through the various levels, taking down hordes of enemies and powerful bosses.
Each character has their own unique set of moves and abilities, and players can switch between them at any time during the game. In addition to the standard punches and kicks, players can also use special attacks that deal significant damage to enemies.
Captain Commando is known for its fast-paced gameplay, colorful graphics, and memorable characters. It was one of the first arcade games to introduce the concept of "team attacks", allowing players to combine their attacks with those of their teammates for more powerful results.
The game was well-received upon its release and is considered a classic of the beat 'em up genre. It spawned a sequel, Captain Commando 2, which was released exclusively in Japan.
