I killed the living armor with a shield and got the guardian stuff. Now I have the most reasonable defense at this point of the game HOORAY. Then beated the crap out of the max slimer. Then to the 2d part of the castle, and the most difficult by the way. (That is, if you don't have the bloody glove)
