Longplay and 1cc (no continues used) of the Game Boy classic Castlevania II Belmont's Revenge (western version with the axe weapon instead of the cross). One of the best classic Castlevanias and very underrated in my opinion.

Its one of the easiest Castlevanias as well, which also means, that you will find nearly no frustrating sections (the Dracula fight excluded), a very linear difficulty progression and just a pleasent experience. All newcomers to classic Castlevanias should definitively take a look at this one. But not just them. The level design, some boss fights (which are often not the best parts of classic Castlevanias) and the overall balance are rock solid.

The music is very good, catchy and will push you through the game, even if its not on the highest levels compared the other Castlevania games (the predecessor Castlevania Adventure included).

The only downside are some rooms which look a bit too similar and that its a bit too easy for a veteran player. Sadly there isnt a hard mode of any kind.

Of course played without safestates, autofire or any other tool assistance.
