Pals still technically faint just like how Pokemon do when you beat them within an inch of their life but I find it funny that we can still get a magical drop of flesh to sustain yourself.
Building mechanics in this game need a lot of work. It may be limiting but I would rather that this game implement some sort of grid system to normalize structure placements. It's very obvious that the world was not designed with this in mind but the base foundation slabs have variable height placements but it can snap to a reasonable area of world space. Stairs are allowed to dip below floors so it's not like we couldn't mitigate height issues by just adding stairs everywhere. These slabs already look weird when you don't shove them into the floor anyways.
I'm getting my bearings in the world and the game loop that is expected of you. I didn't utilize my pals as much as I should of and I spent an odd amount of time pumping arrows into enemy pal faces without thinking about just trying to capture them outright. If I had understood the assignment better I would of built my base next to Ore and Paldium deposites so I could whip up some spheres.
