This... is not at all what I expected the gameplay of this level to be like when I saw the visuals. Before I go on I wanna make it clear I did enjoy this level quite a bit but I definitely have issues with it. First of all, it's quite unfortunate that Ivory and Nelumbo are so similar that they almost feel like the same level, and after Ivory I was definitely ready for a break from that style of gameplay. Maybe Ivory could've been made easier and Summit made a bit harder and then you could've swapped their placements but it's mostly just my fault for doing them back to back, and I could've just went to another level after seeing how similar Nelumbo was.

I'm not sure if it's just that my skill level hasn't been able to keep up with the difficulty curve but this style of gameplay is not my favorite, while it's fun to go fast, when everything is happening at the speed of light and the inputs are this rapid, my ability to prepare for upcoming obstacles with my eyes just falls apart and I end up having to rely entirely on muscle memory. So much so that I almost feel like it would be easier to do this with a blindfold and just memorizing the string of inputs. It will definitely be interesting to look back at these thoughts because while I did get fatigued by having 2 levels with near identical gameplay back to back, my time on Ivory and Nelumbo combined is about 18 hours... and I've heard Solar Express and Pinball Purgatory can easily take 30+ hours each, especially since I'm going for the strawberries as well.

Anyways, we're finally done with the easy levels! :) Jokes aside, if this level is this difficult, and the upcoming levels are as extreme as I've been lead to believe, it's possible this will be the final video of Strawberry Jam. I'm not one to give up easily however so I expect I'll finish the whole thing. I don't even know which one to start with, leaning towards Solar Express, but I could also see myself working on both simultaneously and just hopping between them. We'll see! But first, a trip to the gym as a refresher, I know there was some tech in there that hasn't come up in any levels yet.
