Correction from Siegfried Shrinke. " a taxing order is something to do with taxes. To put it simply, it is created when a party in a legal action has asked for costs to be taxed and a judge has agreed. The account of costs is passed to a taxing master who reviews the legal and other costs and declares them fair or unfiar. The taxing master has the power to amend the dosts total and issue a taxing order, which may have the effect of substantially or slightly reducing the costs for one party. "
