Check out this cool 3D animated short trailer called "Scrounger" about a small robot entering an abandoned space bank, looking for its long-lost friend. On the way through the dark corridors, Scrounger finds a host of robotic aliens guarding the vault, set on destroying what life is left in the ramshackle explorer! Scrounger is a short film made as part of a portfolio for a self-taught aspiring 3D Environment Artist, and as a challenge. Henrik wanted to show a Sci-Fi environment in a different way, so instead of dire, dystopian and de-saturated, he wanted to portray a world of bright colors – clean and lively. It was a self-imposed project where his goal was to do everything himself – models, textures, lighting, materials, rigging, animation, concept, design, compositing, story, and music.
