Remember a film from the 80's called Milo and Otis? It featured a cat, travelling across the countryside, getting into antics with a pug and generally filling about 90 minutes of time in the theater. Well, it was a huge hit in Japan - moreso than in the States - and as such inspired a spin-off game on the Famicom Disk System, a furry platformer entitled Koneko Monogatari: The Adventures of Chatran. The rest, as they say, is history.
