Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 for the PlayStation 3 developed and published by Electronic Arts.
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 is a professional golf simulator featuring the greatest players from golf's past and present. For the first time in this series, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 includes a retro mode that looks at the history of the Majors. Go back through the centuries and play as legends like Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus and even Bobby Jones. The Legends of the Majors mode also features a retro graphics filter, which gives the game the fittingly old-school century feel. And by old-school, we mean a school from the 19th century. Of course, players can also play as modern players, including the cover boy Tiger Woods and stars like Bubba Watson and Rory McIlroy. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 features similar gameplay to prior iterations, including the stick-controlled Shot Shaping mechanic, but with improved online modes and a new historical emphasis. The game also includes single and local multiplayer.
