Sleeping Dogs review. Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of Sleeping Dogs for XBOX 360 developed by United Front Games and published by Square Enix.

Sleeping Dogs was originally part of the True Crime franchise, but the publishing and development of the game had many difficulties getting off the ground and was finally canceled. Publisher/Developer Square Enix would later purchase the intellectual property from Activision who would then release it as Sleeping Dogs -- independent of the True Crime name. Sleeping dogs holds many similarities to the Grand Theft Auto franchise by sporting a large city to roam while seeking entertainment through action and combat. Also like GTA, there is a cinematic feel with high presentation through voice acting and fantastic character animations to bring the game alive even when not engaged in the shoot 'em up action.
