Classic Game Room presents a CGRundertow review of the arcade game Wizard of Wor from Midway. Wizard of Wor is also available for Commodore 64 and various Atari platforms. This is Wizard of Wor as ported to the PS2 on the Midway Arcade Treasures 2 compilation. Wizard of Wor is a strange mixture of action and maze-based arcade gameplay. It's kind of like Pac-Man, only you're shooting things with a laser. You progress when you clear a level of its enemy presence. You do that by running around and shooting monsters, but it's never that easy in Wizard of Wor. The beasts get faster and faster as you kill them off, until a Worluk appears...and if you kill a Worluk, the screen starts bleeding.
