It takes a lot to get me vested into the story of an rpg, especially after so many bad final fantasy stories. This one did, and in a big way. To top it off, the gameplay was engrossing and a good challenge. This is a 10/10!

- Amazing graphics and good music
- great combat and gameplay balance
- Awesome story
- good characters
- sweet party customization
- tag team stuff feels good
- soft caps keep the game challenging
- tons of secrets/check lists have you scoping every area

Negatives
- Crystal system sucks (supposed to be patched)
- the emblem\skill level up system requires too much baby sitting
