ChainMonsters - Play Pokémon on the Ethereum Blockchain? - Crypto Games
6Today I am taking a quick look at Chainmonsters which essentially wants to be Pokémon with actual gameplay but with Cryptocurrency.

This game has definitive potential IF the demo represents actual gameplay and is not just showing how it could look like.
I am a bit on the fence about this game. Last update was on 25th of February, I haven't heard of the dev yet anywhere.
I think Chainmonsters can have a great impact if they focus on centralized gameplay mechanics and only set up the blockchain for trading and maybe battling (as opposed to also having the interactions as shown in the demo run on the blockchain).
I would be cautios for now to purchase any Chainmonsters on their marketplace regardless of how much this crypto game reminds you of Pokemon as there isn't much activity or promotion for it yet. Let's see if the developer shows up and sheds a little light onto future plans and goals of this game.
