DIFFERENCES BETWEEN CHARCOAL & GRAPHITE
I talk about the differences between charcoal and graphite in shine, blending ( with a paintbrush, stump and tissue), erasing (with a kneaded eraser and electric eraser). I will also talk about the differences in tone you can get with charcoal and graphite. I personally prefer to work in charcoal. I never work in graphite because of the strong shine you get. I believe this takes away from the realism of the drawing. The one downfall to charcoal is that it can get very messy to work with!
