In this video I take a look at Endzone - A World Apart*, a post apocalyptic city builder.

The quality is quite nice and it is fun to play but it does contain a certain level of micromanagement which some may not like. For example I was having trouble meeting an early goal of scrap salvage so I was trying to figure out why when I noticed a little red icon on the building, when I moused over it it said the building was reaching capacity. OK, cool, I went and built a warehouse but still no luck. I looked through the buildings popup closer and discovered it had a "production limit" set to 1000 units from start that I had to increase. This might be OK for making the hazard suits or guns but for scrap salvage I'd of thought you'd just want to get it all. The buildings can be turned on and off aswell which may be an easier way for people to limit production if they just set a high limit when the build them. Anyway, these things are easy to figure out but they do take some time to learn.
There are lots of other features too like droughts where you need to stockpile food and water and of course the ever present radiation threat from the war. It's currently in Early Access and seems to be coming along nicely. If you want a bit of a challenge you might want to give it a shot but it doesn't hold your hand.
