Chrono Cross - stream 8
8Recap: While traversing the pirate ship's corridors, the party bumps into Pip, having escaped from Luccia's laboratory and stowed away in an attempt to explore the world. He asks to join their party so that they can travel together. Reaching Captain Fargo on the deck, they help fight off the last of the monsters and secure the ship.
Captain Fargo warns that Mount Pyre is a dangerously hot place, and suggests that they first go to see the Water Dragon for his protection. Water Dragon Isle is dried up and sealed in Kid's timeline, so it turns out to be necessary to travel back to Serge's timeline to meet the Water Dragon. There, they encounter a different problem: The dwarves that had been displaced from the Hydra Marsh have invaded and killed most of the fairies in an attempt to make Water Dragon Isle their new home. After driving the dwarves off, they're able to meet the Water Dragon, who gifts them with ice breath which can be used to freeze even molten lava.
