When the Duke arrives at their home to see if the slipper fits or not, Roxanne tries on the slipper first, though her foot is shown to be extremely large to fit the slipper. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to anybody, Gummigoo and Hugo are responsible for stealing the key to Aurora's room from the wicked stepmother, Maleficent, who had locked Aurora away to prevent her from trying on her glass slipper she left at the castle that has been brought by the Duke for Aurora and her stepsisters to try on. There is a scary moment when Gummigoo gets trapped in Maleficent's pocket as she decides to check the key, and Gummigoo receives a painful spanking. The cruel stepmother then nearly douses poor Hugo with scalding hot tea before the Duke stops her. The two eventually manage to escape.
