With the aid of Vesemir, a veteran witcher, Print embarks - as Geralt of Rivia - to find his 'Dear Friend' and lover of yore, Yennefer of Vengerberg. However, this initially ever-so-simple search quickly evolves into an epic quest: Ciri, his adopted daughter, has returned to the Continent pursued closely by the Wild Hunt. Their goal? A ravenous desire to harness the power of her ancestral Elden Blood.

Travelling from the bog-ridden lands of Velen and the racially unrested city of Novigrad, to the Islands of Skellige and the eventual picturesque yet oddly unsettling Dutchy of Toussant; we must find the Lion Cub of Cintra, defeat the Wraiths of Mörhogg, and finally, rekindle previously doused relationships in an adventure that is Geralt's most proximate quest yet.

This is the last part of the legend. The end of the White Wolf's saga.
