Val Gorge. Home of Falcon and Copperhead squads, of the Intergalactic Human Military. Always fighting to out-do one another, the squads always manage to get the job done (somehow or another) and defend Val Gorge from the hostile alien forces and maintain a foothold on Aconia.
Falcon squad has secured the crash site, but Copperhead squad has found a trail of wreckage separated from the crash site and figure that "finders keepers" applies.
After Rich's report on seeing aliens in the canyon Chief attempts to radio Dixon for an explanation on why they weren't notified only to receive no response. Worried for the AI's safety, Chief sends Doug and Roger back to check on him.
Elsewhere, the lone alien survivor reports that he entered the canyon unnoticed by sensor scan. Curious to see if the story is true, the Commander dispatches one of his officers, Syorok, to investigate.
