743In 1066, the last Anglo-Saxon King of England was slain in battle, and a new regime came to power; the Normans. What followed was chaos and turmoil, rebellion and genocide, and by the end of the century the invaders had replaced all but the most minor of rulers and officials. I will be roleplaying the characters of one of the Anglo-Saxon families that were eventually replaced, but I have no intention of following my historical inspirations into obscurity.
