Two + hours of Westerns and Crime

First a look at this day in History.

Then Have Gun Will Travel starring John Dehner, originally broadcast March 6, 1960, 64 years ago, Somebody Out There Hates Me. Tejada, a Mexican badman, is out to kill Paladin after spending eight years in jail.

Followed by Gunsmoke starring William Conrad, originally broadcast March 6, 1960, 64 years ago, Blood Money. Joe Harp is a likable fellow who turns out to have a price on his head. Harry Speener has been helped by Joe, but isn't very grateful.

Then The Shadow starring Orson Welles and Agnes Moorehead, originally broadcast March 6, 1938, 86 years ago, The Bride of Death. The Shadow tries to prevent a human sacrifice after a minister and ten parishioners are killed by "The Prophet," a villian who can't die.

Followed by Dangerous Assignment starring Brian Donlevy, originally broadcast March 6, 1950, 74 years ago, Wire Spool. Steve Mitchell is sent to San Diego to try to recover a spool of wire on which is recorded a threat to world security. The trail leads to a bumpy bus ride in Latin America!

Finally Lum and Abner, originally broadcast March 6, 1942, Lum and Cedric in Charge. Diogenes has left Lum in charge of his pamphlet operation, but he seems to have told Cedric the same thing! Diogenes also seems to have forgotten to pay his landlady.
