In this episode of #thedailydoug, I'm going back to music by Nightwish by listening to Song of Myself. This song is part of their 2011 album Imaginaerum, but we're listening (by request) to the live recording from their 2013 Wacken concert. I am fascinated by this song's back-story, being inspired by the writing of Walt Whitman as well as part of the overall story arc in this concept album about an aged composer reminiscing his youth.
