Okami HD is a 3D action-adventure game developed by Clover Studio and originally released for PS2 in 2006. Later remastered into HD and released to PS3 in 2012, then Windows, PS4, and Xbox in 2017. The player controls the great Shinto Goddess, Amaterasu, in her wolf form revived in a world shrouded by evil. Joined by a tiny aspiring artist, Issun, she explores the world to purge the darkness and rekindling the peoples' faith in the Gods. The game utilizes a cel shaded art-style reminiscent of traditional brush painting for a unique visual appearance.
