I have tried though to obtain them, but I failed to activate the glitch on both a PS1 and a Super Famicom Rom.

Clock Tower is charming in its simplicity: the story is pretty straightforward, the gameplay is as bare-bones as it could be and the soundtrack is minimalist, like a cemetery. In fact, most of the soundtrack consists of long moment of silence and when you hear anything, from music to sound effects, it's usually not a good sign.
Nevertheless, this game look pretty good for the time. The artwork, animations and scenery are neat. And it's important to mention that this game is heavily influenced by the famous surreal filmmaker Dario Argento, whose works include Phenomena and the original Suspiria. Ironically, this adds some originality to the the mix and the whole experience have a creepy 80's horror vibe to it.
Even if games like Sweet Home and Splatterhouse had been made before, Clock Tower could be considered the genesis of the survival horror genre that we know today.
For the gameplay, I've used a Playstation1 ROM of Clock Tower: The first fear, a port of the Super Famicom (SNES) version.
This version is pretty much the same than the SNES, but I expected more cinematic cutscene...
