i. Please note you cannot delete your Xbox account without deleting your Microsoft account because your Xbox account is linked to your Microsoft account. When you create an Xbox account, you use your Microsoft account to sign in and access the Xbox services. Therefore, deleting your Xbox account will also delete your Microsoft account, along with any other services or products associated with it.
However, you can remove your Xbox profile from your Microsoft account without deleting your entire account. This will remove your Xbox activity, achievements, and friends from your Microsoft account, but it will not delete your Microsoft account. Here's how you can remove your Xbox profile from your Microsoft account:
1. Sign in to your Microsoft account at https://account.microsoft.com/.
2. Click on "Your Info" at the top of the page.
3. Scroll down to the "Xbox" section and click on "Xbox profile".
4. Click on "Remove Xbox profile" and follow the prompts to confirm the action.
Please note that removing your Xbox profile will not cancel any Xbox subscriptions or services that you have, and it will not delete any Xbox data stored on your console.
ii. No, deleting a user account on your (LOCAL) PC does not delete the (CLOUD-based) Microsoft account. It will only remove the user's sign-in info and account data from your PC. The Microsoft account will still exist and can be used to sign in to other devices and services.
