Strider, released in Japan as Strider Hiryū, is a side scrolling platform game released in arcades in 1989 by Capcom.



The game was a result from a cooperation between Capcom and manga publisher Moto Kikaku. It was the start of the video game debut of Hiryu, the character from the 1988 manga Strider Hiryu.
