Combat Ace is so bad that I can't recommend it for anybody. One of the worst games I've ever played.
Combat Ace is a airplane shooting game that has no storyline, but it has bad graphics, repetitive shooting and too high difficulty. I don't think that anyone will suffer and play this game from the start to the end. I couldn't. Graphics are really old school looking and you'd first think that the game is for the first Playstation. The gameplay is way too repetitive and to simply put it, very boring. Combat Ace brings nothing new to the table and it certainly doesn't improve the old things. It only makes them worse. The sounds are dull sound of airplane and the sounds of missiles launching and machine guns firing. There's obviously no music in this kind of disastrous game. I don't know how lengthy the game is, but can anyone really play 30 levels of moving side to side and shooting and then dodging and then moving and looking at the same boring, grey and stupid background scenery? I don't think so. Overally, Combat Ace is simply horrible "shooting game". Buy Lethal Skies or Ace Combat if you want to fly an airplane in a console game. Just to warn you, don't buy any game that's made by Phoenix Games. Bad examples of horrible games are Swat Siege and this, both made by Phoenix.
