Whether or not it counts as a "game" Gone Home has played such an important role in the discussion about what makes a game a game and effectively launching the genre of walking simulators. We start off as Kaitlin Greenbriar who is a college student coming home from a year abroad only to find that her family is not home and there are mysterious notes left for us from our sister Sam. What is going on? Where are our parents?
