These are my tips for doing well in Command and Conquer Quickmatch. My build orders for the different types of map are listed below:

Ore Only
Power Plant, Barracks, Ore Refinery, War Factory, Ore Refinery, Power Plant, War Factory
WF - Build 2 ore trucks then tanks

Ore and Gems Mix
Power Plant, Barracks, Ore Refinery, War factory, War factory, Power Plant, Ore Refinery
WF - Build 2 ore trucks then tanks

Gems only
Power Plant, Barracks, Ore Refinery, War factory, War factory, Power Plant, Ore Refinery
WF - Build tanks (You may need to build ore trucks later on)
